Okay, I'm sure everyone realizes that Homeland is currently governed by a one-woman show here. Yes, I am currently the ONLY admin/mod/whateverhighauthority currently running this wonderful place.
I'm not saying taking care of it by myself is impossible. Nothing is impossible as long as you keep trying. But I'm going to admit it's incredibly hard to take care of everything.
So my point is I'm looking for my first administrator to add to the H.L. Team. Whether your brand new or an old member here, I am just in desperate need of some help OOC'ly. I love Homeland but it's getting rather stressful since we're getting so popular.
Now, I cannot just have anyone. I don't want to sound rude but I need a VERY good, active, talented, reliable, and trustworthy person for the job as an administrator. Administrators have MUCH more responsibility than a Moderator.
So if you are interested in applying to possibly become the first official secondary administrator (not co-owner, I won't choose my co-owner for a while.) then please read the following terms below and reply.
What I'm Looking For;
Active. I need someone who is going to be able to check on here EVERY day. Because we have currently NO OTHER administrators or moderators this means I along with whoever gets this position has to do all the things that would NORMALLY be assigned to my job list moderators.
They have to also be able to stay in contact with me meaning you must have AIM or MSN so I have the ability to talk interactively with you.
Skills. I don't want to be harsh, but if you have no skills at graphics or coding I don't really need your help here. It's not a requirement that you're insanely good at graphics, but it would help to know how to do them and do them well. But mainly I DO need you to know about HTML and Proboards skinning.
Loyalty. If I'm looking for an admin (which I am) I need to know you aren't going to suddenly just abandon me along with all the Homeland members. If you become administrator, that means you have a duty of taking care of Homeland and its members. Stick with us.
Help. I need someone who can actually HELP OUT. I don't want someone who will sit on their butt all the effing time and watch me work! Don't assume I'll ask or tell you what to do, APPROACH me and ask yourself what you can do to help out. I'm not going to hold your hand. Even make suggestions on stuff you can help with.
Role-model. Every good administrator knows they must set a very good example for all the hopeful members of the forum. If they are insanely active, the members will be insanely active. It's the clockwork of practically everything. So it would help that you are a good member with good status and who is just overall a role-model to others.
If you think you fit these standards, then I need you to reply to THIS thread and you explain why you are a good choice and how you would be a good choice. I'm not going to give you a form to fill out, because then I wouldn't be able to see if you can explain yourself without any guidelines. That way I can seperate the fakes from the actual decent admins.
Thank You. Beowulf
| just get outta my way. and i'll be ok.

It's too bad that I'm no good at html Ty, cause then I'd help you out everyday. That's no fair that I apply to everything else then the 'good at graphics' section. Ah well I'm sure you'll find some one that applies to all of your expectations, Ty! I DO check back everyday for news and new roleplays and other things.
Good luck on your search, friend.
